Personal Aqua Fitness Training is offered in our specialized Swim-ex current pools. It is an enjoyable form of exercise that makes use of the natural resistance and buoyancy of the water to provide a low-impact but highly effective workout. It is suitable for people of all ages and different levels of fitness. Sedentary individuals to accomplished athletes will find what they need to improve their fitness level. Water lends itself to a well-balanced workout that improves all major components of physical fitness.

What to Expect:
A custom workout plan will be developed for you based on your personal goals. Everything from water walking/jogging, water aerobics, strengthening, flexibility and relaxation exercises as well swimming conditioning are just some of the techniques that you may experience based on your interest and fitness level. You may experience an increase in strength, energy, endurance,weight reduction and flexibility. Prior swimming experience is not required.

Who Can Benefit:
Persons with arthritis, fibromyalgia, back pain, neurologic or orthopedic concerns as well as newcomers to fitness and experienced athletes.

Aqua Fitness Training Sessions are especially well-suited for the person who wants to learn how to best use these specialized pools, use the aquatic equipment, swim into the current and integrate aquatics into their ongoing health program.
